Terms of Service

Effective Date: December 1, 2025

Service Agreement & Liability Waiver

This Service Agreement (“Agreement”) is between [Doorstep Laundry Service] (“Service Provider”) and the customer (“Client”).
By subscribing or using our service, the Client agrees to the following terms.

1. Services Provided

The Service Provider will:

  • Pick up, wash, dry, fold, and return laundry on a weekly basis except the fifth week of a month.

  • Provide the number of bags specified in the Client’s subscription

  • Return laundry within the scheduled delivery window

2. Customer Responsibilities

Client agrees to:

  • Place laundry in provided bags by pickup time

  • Ensure pockets are empty

  • Separate items requiring special care, if applicable

  • Notify us of allergies or detergent sensitivities

3. Prohibited Items

Client agrees not to include:

  • Hazardous materials

  • Excessively soiled items (biohazards)

  • Pet waste items

  • Oil or chemical-contaminated fabrics

4. Damage & Loss Policy

We will take reasonable care of all garments, but we are not responsible for:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Shrinkage or color fading

  • Damage due to manufacturer defects

  • Items left in pockets

  • Missing socks or small accessories

  • Maximum liability is up to 1x the monthly subscription, unless otherwise required by law.

5. Pickup/Delivery

If the Client fails to leave the laundry out during pickup time:

  • A $10 missed pickup fee may apply

  • Laundry will be collected the following scheduled week

6. Payment & Billing

  • All subscriptions auto-renew monthly

  • Failed payments may result in paused service

  • Add-ons will be billed on a weekly basis. Add-ons must be requested by 5:00pm on the Tuesday prior to scheduled pickup

7. Cancellation

Client may cancel anytime before the next billing cycle. Memberships will cancel at the end of the month’s billing period.

8. Termination by Provider

We may suspend or cancel service if:

  • Safety concerns arise

  • Repeated non-payment

  • Repeated policy violations

9. Liability Waiver

Client releases the Service Provider from claims relating to:

  • Lost items valued under $30

  • Wear, shrinkage, or color changes

  • Allergic reactions if preferences weren't disclosed

  • Pickup theft if items were left in an unsecured public area

10. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Alabama.
